How many guests can the chapel accommodate?

The chapel can  seat up to 175 guests for your ceremony.

What’s included with my rental?

All packages include exclusive access to the chapel, original wooden pews, use of the baby grand piano, use of the chapel bell and parking area.

Do you host receptions as well?

We currently specialize in ceremony-only events including weddings, elopements, and vow renewals.

Can we schedule a tour before booking?

Absolutely! We encourage all couples to schedule a private tour to walk through the chapel, ask questions, and envision their day with us.

How far in advance should I book?

We recommend booking 9–18 months in advance, especially for peak wedding seasons (spring and fall). However, we also accommodate short-notice bookings when available.

What is the deposit and payment policy?

To officially reserve your date, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking, along with a signed rental agreement. Your remaining balance will be due 6 weeks prior to your event date.

Additionally, we require a $300 refundable damage and cleaning deposit. This will be returned to you after the event, provided the chapel is left clean, undamaged, and in accordance with the rental guidelines.

Where is Wartrace Chapel located?

We’re located in Wartrace, Tennessee, just 1 hour south of Nashville and 30 minutes from Murfreesboro, in the heart of scenic Middle Tennessee.

Can I book the chapel for an elopement or vow renewal?

Absolutely! We welcome elopements, vow renewals, and any special occasion that deserves a meaningful moment in our beautiful historic chapel.

Do you allow outside vendors?

Yes! You’re welcome to bring in your own vendors, or choose from our list of local florists, planners, photographers, and officiants.

Is the chapel climate controlled?

Yes, the chapel is climate-controlled, so you and your guests will be comfortable year-round.

Do you provide décor or flowers?

The chapel’s natural charm means minimal décor is needed, but we do not provide in-house floral or décor services. However, we’re happy to recommend local vendors.

Do I need wedding insurance to rent the chapel?

Yes, we require all couples to obtain a wedding liability insurance policy as part of your venue rental agreement. This helps protect both you and the venue in the event of unexpected incidents.

  • If no alcohol is being served, you must provide proof of a $1 million liability policy.

  • If alcohol will be served, a $2 million policy is required, and alcohol must be served by a licensed bartender.

We recommend using WedSure for quick and affordable coverage, though you may choose any reputable provider.

A copy of your Certificate of Insurance must be submitted to us no later than 2 weeks prior to your event date.
